Who i am

I was born and raised in NYC and studied Industrial Design at the Rhode Island School of Design, with a focus in Nature, Culture and Sustainability Studies. That foundation taught me to see design not just as form, but as part of a larger ecological and cultural system.

Coming from a global family, my practice is influenced by multiple worlds. My Indian heritage brings a love of craftsmanship and ornamentation. Belgian culture inspires clarity and modern restraint. Japanese aesthetics inform my appreciation for precision, proportion, and quiet beauty. These perspectives converge in my work, architectural yet expressive, disciplined yet alive.

When I’m not designing eyewear, I seek the natural beauty of the earth. I photograph wildlife, explore remote landscapes, and recently authored and illustrated a children’s novel about dung beetles, celebrating the unseen systems that sustain life.

My work lives at the intersection of city and wilderness, tradition and modernity, structure and story.
